 Our Configuration
For High Speed Rail at 125 mph

with dual mode for offline. At 3 second headways, the max capacity covers 660,000 ft/ph divided by 210' (180'+30)' of car lengths = 210' of  automation space packets. This results in 3,142 cars p/h. Multiplied by the 18 passengers p/c results in 18,852 pp/h. Assume 1/12th less capacity for every stop. Could be configured slower for existing tracks and save money.

Steel Wheel on Bench Rail

For high speed cross country routes this configuration below shows a rail bench that can use a steel railroad type of wheel attached to the tire wheel. This will allow for dual mode of higher speeds on rail and lower speeds on tires inside the city. The steel wheels also will crush ice on mountain routes

 

Linear Induction Propulsion
ANIMATION
This motor provides the traction instead of the wheels which are used to support the car. LIM  can go up very steep slopes and acts as a brake going down. This is the best cruiser propulsion technology for the Colorado Mountains.
